From Monday taxpayers work for themselves not the state

This year the Tax Freedom Day fell on Monday, June 2, according to calculations done by the F.A. Hayek Foundation and the Association of Taxpayers. It is the last day when people work, to cover expenditures of the state on a yearly basis via direct and indirect taxes. This year the state redistributed at least 41.38 cents from each euro earned in Slovakia.
