Deputy Foreign Minister Ingrid Brocková met in Greece with the local representatives of Evia island, burnt by extensive fires where Slovak firefighters were dispatched to help. Greece is one of the Mediterranean countries most affected by the migration crisis. "Slovak support for Greece comes in the form of specific and tangible actions to help handle migration," underlined Brocková. Slovakia contributed €1 million for a project, organised together with Austria and the International Organisation for Migration, aimed at providing health care also in refugee camps on selected islands and the mainland. Slovakia's contribution will be used to procure biochemical laboratories and radiological units.
