Border procedures have been relaxed as of Monday, as the Government approved a transition to the green stage (first stage of the alert system). Borders will be monitored and checks will be random. Police officers will carry them out as part of their standard duties. Until now Slovakia has been in the second (orange) stage, under which most people entering Slovakia should undergo a border check.
