COVID-19 Automaton: 44 orange districts as of next Monday

In most parts of Slovakia, the anti-pandemic rules will tighten as of Monday, September 20. Some districts might even see the reintroduction of the ban on going out in the evening. The hygienists decided to do so on the basis of the covid automaton, which monitors and evaluates the development of the epidemic and automatically adjusts the restrictions and prohibitions. In recent days, the situation has worsened in 31 districts. A total of 44 districts will be considered orange according to the COVID-19 automaton as of next week, while only four districts will be treated as green, 27 red, and three dark red, the Government decided at its session on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bratislava's mayor Matúš Vallo informed on Thursday that Bratislava has already reached the number of 75% in the vaccination with the first dose of the vaccine in the age category 50+. After this statistic is confirmed, it should guarantee Bratislava a two-degree better light in the automaton and prevent serious lockdowns.
