47% of people in Slovakia are willing to work without a contract. This stems from results of a representative survey ordered by the company Profesia and conducted by Focus agency on a sample of 1,032 respondents. 21 % of those polled has no problem with illegal work, and additional 26 % would consider illegal employment.
The highest portion of people who would ‘definitely’ be willing to work without an employment contract is among students (36 %), respondents with net monthly income per household up to 500 euro (28 %) and people living in small towns with population from 20,000 to 50,000 (30 %) and among citizens of Prešov County in Eastern Slovakia (27 %).
