Public Ombudswoman Jana Dubovcová in co-operation with the US Embassy to Slovakia celebrated the Children's Day with children from all walks of life in Slovakia with the theme of tolerance.
“In Slovakia, we all live together and not merely next to each other. Therefore, we should get to know each other because that's the only way to overcome prejudices,” reads the text released by the Public Ombudsman's Office on Sunday. The ombudswoman together with the US embassy have hosted children from eastern Slovakia, Bratislava, Roma children and children with physical handicaps at a party held in order to underline the idea for greater coexistence.
