President Zuzana Caputova on Thursday sent a telegram of condolence to her North Macedonian counterpart Stevo Pendarovski in connection with the fire at a hospital in Tetovo on Wednesday (September 8). At least 14 people were killed and dozens of others were injured in the fire, which broke out in the COVID ward of the town hospital. The country's Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has posted on Twitter that the fire was caused by an explosion.
