The police have reported on their Facebook account that they investigated a total of 403 cases of producing, distributing, possessing and participating in child pornography last year, an increase of 117 cases when compared to 2019.The police managed to bring 114 of these cases to a close.
Meanwhile, they also registered a notable increase in cases concerning the distribution of child pornography. While the number of these cases in 2019 stood at 191, it reached 316 in 2020.
