Global automotive supplier Adient has confirmed its plans to end production at their plant in Košťany nad Turcom (Zilina region), TASR press agency reports, citing a company's media representatives. The measure is being characterised as a strategic decision of the parent company. The end of production is to be carried out gradually through September 2022, and will affect all 442 jobs in the plant. The management has already started direct negotiations with employee representatives in the company, offering 60 jobs at other plants in Slovakia as well as cooperating via the Labour Office.
