Militants in Ukraine seized eleven OSCE observers, including one Slovak

On Wednesday unknown armed men detained 11 observers of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), including one Slovak. "According to available information, the group of observers has been seized by unidentified armed people around 35 kilometres from Donetsk," said the Foreign affairs ministry.

The ministry, which kept steady contact with the permanent Slovak mission to OSCE in Vienna, called on the armed men to release the observers immediately. The group of observers were released in the evening hours. However, the Slovak ministry asks for the release of four international observers who went missing on Monday, 26 May.
