A 48-year man was detained by the police on Tuesday morning at Bratislava University Hospital in the city suburb of Kramáre after screaming that a bomb had been placed on the premises of the facility. According to the spokesperson of the Bratislava Police Corps regional headquarters Tatiana Kurucová, the police immediately inspected the site, but found nothing.
“Immediately after arriving at the site, police officers arrested a 48-year-old suspect and escorted him to the respective police station to carry out the required procedures”, specified Kurucová. The hospital is now being searched by a bomb specialist accompanied by a sniffer dog trained to detect explosives, added Kurucová.
