The Slovak company Eustream has started with the Open Season procedure in its project of reverse flow of natural gas from Slovakia to Ukraine. In the coming weeks, the Slovak carrier of gas will determine the binding interests of market participants in the transport capacity of natural gas to Ukraine over the gas pipeline from Vojany.
“The link between Slovakia and Ukraine will connect the network operators Eustream and Ukrtransgaz through a new interconnection point, Budince, near the existing interconnection point Velke Kapušany. This link offers new opportunities for gas transport and strengthens cross-border liquidity”, said Vahram Chuguryan, a spokesperson for Eustream.
