Solidarity protests in support for people who have experienced sexualised violence were held in several Slovak cities on Thursday, organised by Amnesty International Slovensko. "Our effort is to publicly present the rejection of all forms of sexualised violence and harassment, and make it clear that such a behaviour won't be overlooked nor tolerated," declared the campaign coordinator, Alexandra Demetrianova. At protests, speakers talked about survivors of sexual assault and the way the Slovak law and society looks at rape and other forms of sexual violence.
