Mensa Slovensko NGO, which brings together people with a high IQ, has awarded an honorary membership in memoriam to a native of Bratislava and the author of many industrial patents, Johann Wolfgang Kempelen. "We find many exceptional personalities who have fallen into obscurity, or we know them only from street names, and we want to show the whole country their inspiring stories," said the organization's chairman Andrej Aleksiev.
According to the organization, Wolfgang Kempelen was a broadly gifted engineer, polyglot, artist and inventor, whose legacy inspires even today.
