The value of cash purchases should be rounded out in order to significantly limit the number of one- and two-cent coins in circulation. This stems from the Finance Ministry's draft amendment to the law on prices due to be discussed at the Cabinet session on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Eduard Heger will submit to the session a Report on Slovakia's Security in 2020. Although the pandemic reduced the immediate terrorist threat, it deepened the polarisation of society.
The Cabinet will also deal with a report on the incidence and impacts of floods in Slovakia in the second half of 2020. According to the report, floods caused damage totalling more than €4.7 million.
