Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry State Secretary Martin Klus stated during his official visit to Azerbaijan that Slovakia would continue opening doors to Baku for entrepreneurs, as there are opportunities for business in trade, energy and tourism.
Klus held talks with Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Khalaf Khalafov and the president's adviser for foreign affairs Hikmet Hajiyev. On this occasion, Klus claimed that Azerbaijan is "a very important partner country in the South Caucasus region" for Slovakia.
"I'm pleased that my talks with the Azerbaijani representatives confirmed mutual interest in deepening bilateral relations, with an emphasis on trade and economic cooperation," said Klus.
