Poll: Slovaks Take Minimum Measures to Protect Their Personal Data

The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the need to secure personal data, but only a minimum of people proactively take measures to protect them, according to a public opinion poll conducted by Focus agency for law firm WISE3 in June. For one quarter of the respondents, personal data protection is of minimal importance. The majority of the people polled (72 percent) care to some extent about the protection of their data. However, only eight percent of the respondents said that they are responsible in the area of personal data protection and invest in their own security.
