The Swiss cruise ship Diamond crashed into one of the pillars of the dismantled Old Bridge which spanned across the Danube River in Bratislava on Thursday morning.
“Seven people have sustained light injuries”, said Boris Chmel, the spokesperson for the Emergency Rescue Operation Centre. The ship has been transporting tourists on the route between Germany and Hungary. An investigation into the cause of the crash has begun.
