Individuals should engage in climate movements and communities as they can pressure major players in the environmental sphere in this way, President Zuzana Čaputová stated on Tuesday on the occasion of the start of the European Climate Pact campaign.
In her opinion, the fight against climate change must start within every individual, but at the same time, individuals should engage in communities, as this allows them to have a stronger voice.
The aim of the European Climate Pact campaign is to motivate and inspire people, communities and businesses to take practical steps to reduce their carbon footprint.
