Some districts in eastern Slovakia - Bardejov, Košice-okolie, Levoča, Michalovce, Snina and Stropkov - should receive a total of €1.66 million as part of regional contributions this year, if the Government approves a proposal by the Investment Ministry submitted to the regular session on Wednesday.
Also discussed should be methods for making the fight against environmental crimes more efficient, including by setting up a strategy coordination group as part of the national expert group.
As for the presence of foreign armed forces in Slovakia in the second half of this year, it is expected that there will be 26 drills in Slovakia, while Slovak soldiers should go to 39 drills abroad. Another topic to be discussed will be the economic performance of state companies in 2020, with a related report revealing that the state-run health insurer VsZP posted the highest deficit of all, amounting to €114 million.
