The Slovak Hydrometeorogical institute issued a heath alert of the first degree for Monday for south-western Slovakia. For the remaining territory, no warnings were issued. For Tuesday, a second degree heat alert is in place for south-western Slovakia and a first degree alert is in place for the remaining parts of western Slovakia, all southern districts and even the districts of Sobrance, Humenné, Vranov nad Topľou and Snina. For Wednesday no heat alerts are issued in Slovakia
