Heatwave alerts are in place for almost the entire Slovak territory. For Monday, only 7 districts in north-eastern Slovakia are without a warning, according to Slovak Hydro-meteorological Office. On the other hand for south-western Slovakia, a second degree warning is in place. For the remaining areas, a first-degree warning is in place. For Tuesday, the entire western Slovakia and all southern districts are marked with the first degree of warning. The prediction for Wednesday is tougher, with most southern districts labelled with a second-degree warning and most of western and eastern Slovakia with a first degree of warning.
