Volkswagen Slovakia on Monday became one of the few companies in Slovakia that have started to vaccinate their employees against COVID-19, allowing its staff to get inoculated in its Bratislava and Martin-based plants.
Health Minister Vladimir Lengvarsky (an OLaNO nominee) noted that a total of 18 employers, including Volkswagen Slovakia, U.S. Steel Kosice and Schaeffler, have engaged in this program, which is currently in its pilot stage.
More than 1,000 people have expressed an interest in being inoculated at the Volkswagen facilities so far.
