Slovak delegation at NATO summit in Brussels

Upholding the rule of law and the fight against disinformation in the digital space are the main topics, which Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová discussed with Věra Jourová Vice President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency. They met in Brussels ahead of the NATO summit, which started on Monday afternoon. As part of her schedule, Čaputová was set to deliver a speech at a side event - the so-called Brussels Forum. As for the main event, the Slovak President should address topics concerning a rule-based world order, boosting the Alliance's resilience and the importance of collective defence, activities of China that affect the security of the allies, climate goals and Slovakia's commitments towards NATO. Čaputová is accompanied by Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister Ivan Korčok, Defense Minister Jaroslav Naď and Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to NATO Peter Bátor.
