As of Tuesday (June 8), the police plan to decrease the amount of checks at state borders and international airports, and will continue only with sporadic checks on compliance with measures, Police Corps Presidium spokesperson Denisa Bardyova announced on Monday.
In light of the improving epidemiological situation, also to be reopened are small road crossings and other touristic routes from Poland and the Czech Republic.
"Restrictions will remain in place on the borders with Hungary because the Hungarian side has opened only the Tachty-Cered border crossing thus far," pointed out the spokesperson.
