Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák held talks with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov in Moscow today. The main topic of their meeting was the question concerning bilateral economical projects, as well as actual international political issues, with the accent given on the situation in Ukraine.
According to Lavrov, Russia's ties with the EU and NATO need a 'rethink' in light of deep differences over Ukraine. Miroslav Lajčák has presented the stance of the Slovak Republic, which supports all political steps that could prevent an escalation of the conflict in Ukraine.
