A supervisory prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor's Office has decided to release former deputy Justice Ministry Monika Jankovská from custody. She has been in custody since March last year due to her alleged involvement in what the authorities believe was an unlawful taking away of the Fatima bar from a local entrepreneur in Trenčín on behalf of a mob boss, now dead. The Special Prosecutor's Office in its press release points out that it carefully and thoroughly assessed the existence of reasons for the custody as well as the legal possibilities of its replacement. Monika Jankovská was hospitalised in the psychiatry department of the Trenčín Faculty Hospital, following her mental breakdown.
