Prime Minister Eduard Heger together with Culture Minister Natália Milanová will meet with members of the culture industry who want to address without delay the 2021 aid as well as frameworks for post-pandemic years.
In an open letter sent to Heger and Milanová, the culture community warned that they are on the verge of economic bankruptcy and seeing as they have not been allowed to resume their activities even despite the improving pandemic situation, support schemes continue to be a must.
The community is all the more angered to see its subsidies put on hold due to lingering conflicts within the coalition. "We refuse to be held hostage again by personal conflicts between Government members," the letter accentuates.
