Finance Minister Igor Matovič (OLaNO) left for a working trip to Portugal on Friday morning where he will take part in a two-day Eurogroup meeting and an informal meeting of the Ecofin Council led by the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU.
Green renewal, in particular the future of environmental taxation in the EU, and balanced, inclusive and resilient renewal will be high on the agenda of the EU finance ministers' meetings on Saturday. "A stable and sound public finance environment is key for ensuring the growth of European economies in the post-coronavirus period," stated Matovič.
