On Thursday morning, Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korčok set off to Tel Aviv to meet with his Israeli counterpart Gabi Ashkenazi. According to Korčok, while Slovakia recognises Israel's right to protect its citizens against the attacks of Hamas and other militant groups, Slovakia also wants to contribute through active diplomacy to the de-escalation of violence in order to avoid further innocent victims.
