After the heavy rainfall that has hit the territory of Slovakia in recent days, the highest degree of flood activity remains in many places in northern, central and eastern Slovakia. Due to the increased water levels, it has not yet been possible to determine the exact extent of flood damage and the extent of security work. During the day, the watercourse administrator had 160 water managers in the field who performed rescue and security work after flooding with 70 pieces of equipment, using 85 tons of quarry stone, 1000 bags and 20 tons of sand. The third degree of flood activity is also declared in Banská Bystrica on the Hron watercourse.
