A former MP for the For the People party, Andrea Letanovská, held a news conference on Wednesday to announce that she's joining the extra-parliamentary Together party. She announced that she's quitting For the People on Saturday (March 8).
Letanovska said she sees room in the Together party for a vision of better-functioning and patient-oriented health care.
When leaving For the People, Letanovská said that the party has failed to fulfil its potential to become a standard-bearer for decency, expertise and a new political culture. She also disliked the way in which Veronika Remišová led the party.
MP Miroslav Kollár, who also quit For the People, recently joined Together as well.
