Health Minister Vladimir Lengvarský claimed that his ministry still has not received the results of testing of the Sputnik V vaccine from Hungary. Thus almost one month has passed since April 9, when Finance Minister Igor Matovič announced that the Sputnik V vaccines which were delivered to Slovakia would be tested in Hungary. According to Lengvarský, Russia is the actual owner of the Sputnik V vaccine doses that were delivered to Slovakia in March.
The minister at the same time did not rule out that if there are enough vaccines in the third quarter of 2021, people might be given the option to choose jabs of their liking. According to him, Slovakia expects to receive a total of 1.5 million vaccines from Pfizer/BioNtech by the end of May.
