Germany is our strategic partner, our most important business partner and one of our largest investors, Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korčok said during his working visit to Berlin on Tuesday, TASR learnt from the ministry's press department on the same day.
Korčok discussed several bilateral topics with his German counterpart Heiko Maas, including the continuation of intensive co-operation within the so-called enhanced dialogue between Slovakia and Germany.
In his meeting with the German minister, Korčok also confirmed his support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders. The ministers also agreed on the need to increase the momentum of the accession process of Western Balkan countries, and also discussed the strengthening of transatlantic relations and the importance of co-operation with the United States as a key ally of Europe.
