The state of emergency will be extended by another 30 days, the Government decided at its online session held late on Monday evening. They changed, however, the rules on the night-time curfew, which as of April 29th will start an hour later, at 9 p.m. and last until 1 a.m. The state of emergency was supposed to end on April 28th. Although the Government has okayed the extension, it still has to be approved by Parliament no more than 20 days after coming into effect. The state of emergency allows the Government to limit some civil rights and fast track some policies.
