PM in favour of extending state of emergency

On Sunday, Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger stated that the state of emergency in the country should be prolonged once more. As he explained, Slovakia is still not ready to completely suspend it, despite the fact the pandemic situation has been improving recently. On the other hand, Economy Minister Richard Sulík of Freedom and Solidarity party disagrees. "Instead of prolonging the state of emergency, which includes testing and a curfew after 8 pm, we proposed a new law on economic mobility to Prime Minister Eduard Heger," said Sulík adding that he consider the ongoing mass testing ineffective.
