People will be able to use a direct rail connection from Bratislava to Split in Croatia and take their cars or motorcycles with them thanks to a new service prepared by Slovak passenger rail carrier ŽSSK in cooperation with Austrian rail carrier OBB. A regular rail service offering car transport will operate as of June. Trains will depart from Bratislava for the Croatian summer resort on Tuesdays and Fridays between June 18 and September 10. Return journeys from Split to Bratislava will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays between June 19 and September 11. The trains will be equipped with the latest air-conditioned carriages and will be able to carry ten cars.
