The Prosecutor-General's Office is dealing with death threat messages addressed to the director of the State Institute for Drug Control (SUKL), Zuzana Baťová, and her family, PG Office spokesman Dalibor Skladan said on Monday. The case will be treated as a suspected criminal offence of dangerous threat. Baťová received the death threats after Finance Minister Igor Matovič publicly stated at a press conference on Friday that the Institute she leads has sabotaged the use of Sputnik V in Slovakia. The Institute stated that it can't issue an expert stance on this unregistered vaccine due to missing documents from the manufacturer and the inconsistency of batches.
