Slovakia sends condolences to UK over passing of Prince Philip

Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová sent a telegram of condolences to British Queen Elizabeth II over the death of her husband - Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who passed away at the age of 99 on Friday. Čaputová remarked in the telegram that Prince Philip had been an irreplaceable pillar of the British monarchy and his dedication to public service was viewed as exemplary by the British public. "The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, which was set up at Prince Philip's initiative, has inspired many young people all around the world, including many Slovaks. The prize has helped them to discover their potential, develop talent, achieve dreams and reach goals," noted the president.
