On the occasion of Monday's International Women's Day, Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister Ivan Korčok presented an award from the Foreign Ministry to five exceptional women for their significant contribution to building the foreign service of the Slovak Republic, their work in international institutions and development projects, as well as for spreading Slovakia's good name abroad. On Friday (March 12), the Slovak Foreign Ministry prepared a series of events dedicated to women in international politics entitled Women's Week in Diplomacy. The goal is to raise the profile of women's representation in Slovak diplomacy, in international organizations, as well as in development and humanitarian projects around the world.
