The Cabinet at its session on Wednesday approved a list of 19 districts to be labelled black (the most severe degree concerning COVID-19) as of Monday, 22 February, with regard to measures under the COVID-automaton: Banovce nad Bebravou, Detva, Dunajska Streda, Galanta, Hlohovec, Ilava, Martin, Nitra, Nove Mesto nad Vahom, Partizanske, Piestany, Revuca, Roznava, Sala, Snina, Trnava, Ziar nad Hronom, Zlate Moravce and Zvolen.
The dark-red (second-most severe) degree concerns the highest number of districts: Banska Bystrica, Banska Stiavnica, Bratislava I-V, Brezno, Bytca, Dolny Kubin, Gelnica, Humenne, Kezmarok, Komarno, Kosice I-IV, Kosice-okolie, Krupina, Levice, Levoca, Malacky, Medzilaborce, Michalovce, Myjava, Namestovo, Nove Zamky, Pezinok, Poprad, Povazska Bystrica, Presov, Prievidza, Puchov, Rimavska Sobota, Ruzomberok, Senec, Senica, Skalica, Sobrance, Spisska Nova Ves, Topolcany, Trebisov, Trencin, Turcianske Teplice, Tvrdosin, Velky Krtis, Vranov nad Toplou, Zarnovica and Zilina.
The medium-red degree concerns ten districts: Bardejov, Cadca, Kysucke Nove Mesto, Liptovsky Mikulas, Lucenec, Poltar, Sabinov, Stara Lubovna, Stropkov and Svidnik.
There are no light-red districts.
Schools are obliged to stay closed in black districts, while they're allowed to open in dark-red districts only following a recommendation of the relevant regional public health authority. Schools can simply open in medium-red and light-red districts.
People are allowed to go to work only with a negative test for coronavirus no older than seven days in black and dark-red districts. It's enough to have up to a 14-day old test in medium-red districts and a 21-day old test in light-red districts.
It's forbidden to leave or enter black districts. Meanwhile, although it's permitted to cross district borders in the case of light-, medium- and dark-red districts, the person in question must possess a negative test certificate no older than seven days.
