The renowned symbol of Brussels, the Manneken Pis, will be dressed in Slovak folk costume during the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of Slovakia's joining of the EU, set for May 3 in Brussels, TASR learnt from Košice Region (KSK) spokesperson Zuzana Bobriková on Tuesday.
“The programme, held under the auspices of all Slovak regions, will consist of performances by folk groups, demonstrations of folk craftsmanship and sampling of Slovak culinary specialties – supplemented by non-traditional activities. The KSK Cultural Centre prepared activities to be presented by the Kosice Region as part of the project, Region Full of Inspiration”, she added.
