Prime Minister advocates his attitude

Prime Minister Igor Matovic (OLaNO) stated on Sunday, speaking on private TV TA3 that he does not intend to dismiss Economy Minister Richard Sulik (SaS) over the current epidemic situation, noting there will be time for holding Sulik accountable in the future. When asked why he did not attend the Government sessions that took place this week, Matovic replied that he did not want to cause "friction", as he had expected that the coalition Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party would come up with proposals with which he does not agree. In his opinion, it is not a good idea to reopen schools. Economy Minister Richard Sulik (SaS) stated on Sunday, speaking on private television channel Markiza that he considers it to be wrong that only epidemiologists can decide what shops, services and institutions can reopen. According to Sulik, if the Government also heeded the opinions of sociologists, teachers and economy experts, it would contribute to reaching "a balanced solution".
