Former Agricultural Payment Agency head released from custody

The former head of the Agricultural Payment Agency (PPA), Juraj Kožuch, has been released from custody, a senate of the Supreme Court ruled on Thursday. Kožuch, charged under NAKA's Operation Stock Farmer and remanded in custody for almost ten months, can be released despite the fact that he was supposed to stay in custody until April 1, said his lawyer Roman Balco. The Supreme Court thus upheld a decision of the Specialised Criminal Court, which decided on January 11 that Kožuch's custody could be replaced with restrictive measures.
