Tenders for the construction of hydrogen refuelling stations in Slovakia are set to start in early 2021. The plans presented in the summer envisage four to eight stations. According to Economy Minister Richard Sulik, preparations are almost finished and the tenders will commence in January. The department plans to support the purchase of hydrogen-powered vehicles once the stations are built. Sulik expects that the hydrogen strategy will be published at the beginning of 2021. "It will stipulate the reasons, extent, and conditions under which hydrogen could play a more significant role in our economy, particularly in industry and transportation," the minister concluded.
