Acquisition of agricultural rules should be guided by stricter regulations. This stems from a draft bill on acquiring ownership of agricultural land, which the Cabinet approved at its Wednesday’s session.
The aim of the draft is to eliminate any speculative purchases of land or the misuse of such ownership. It is now off to Parliament that will evaluate it in a fast tracked legislative proceeding.
