The current coronavirus-related curfew in Slovakia is related to the current state of emergency, which is due to be in place only until December 29th, according to the valid constitutional law. However the Government is seeking to extend it, said Justice Minister Maria Koliková (For the People) on Monday. Nevertheless, the current partial lockdown should stay in place until January 10th. She wouldn't rule out the possibility that Parliamentary Chairman Boris Kollár (We Are Family) will manage to convene Parliament before the state of emergency expires to allow the Government to renew it. "We'll see what the situation is on December 30 and what options will be at the Government's disposal, and we'll act accordingly," she said.
