Košice City Transport Company has equipped all trams and buses currently operating in public transport with contactless disinfection devices over the past couple of days. The transport company installed a total of 343 disinfectant dispensers in 86 trams and 602 dispensers in 196 buses as part of measures to halt the spread of coronavirus. They have been placed next to all doors on every vehicle except for the front doors, close to the driver's area, which is closed off to passengers. The total cost of installing the disinfection dispensers amounted to €64,200.
