After her video conference with ambassadors of all EU member states accredited in Slovakia, President Zuzana Čaputová announced that they inquired mostly about the domestic political situation in Slovakia, the coronavirus crisis, climate policy and Slovakia's stances on current European issues. "The ambassadors view in a positive light particularly changes in the judiciary geared towards the cleansing of the judicial system, and also praise the stance of Slovakia regarding the V4 (Visegrad Four group: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) in support of the clinching of a European deal on the recovery plan," posted Čaputová on her social network. Also discussed was the EU budget and coronavirus recovery fund, as well as the target to cut down emissions by 2030, due to be deliberated on this week at a summit of EU leaders in Brussels.
