The Government didn't decide on any resolution on a lockdown at its session on Wednesday, said Economy Minister Richard Sulik (Freedom and Solidarity/SaS) following the session, adding that Slovakia's chief hygienist Jan Mikas is to do this.
Following a meeting of the Central Crisis Management Team on Tuesday (December 8), Interior Minister Roman Mikulec (OLaNO) confirmed that some form of lockdown will be adopted in Slovakia, although he didn't provide any more details. Prime Minister Igor Matovic (OLaNO) promised to inform the public about the results of the Crisis Management Team's meeting after the Cabinet session.
